Nina Poláková was born in Trnava, Slovakia.
She graduated from the Eva Jaczova Dance Conservatory in Bratislava under the direction of Klára Škodová and Rafael Avnikjan. During her studies she became a soloist of the Slovak National Theatre Ballet, where before and after her graduation she performed leading roles in the ballets La Bayadère, Giselle, Le Corsaire, Swan Lake and Spartacus.
In 2005 she joined the Vienna State Ballet, where she has held the position of principal dancer, mainly under the direction of Manuel Legris. She has appeared in the lead roles of masterpieces of the classical and neoclassical repertoire, such as La Bayadère, Carmen, Don Quixote, Giselle, Giselle Rouge, Le Corsaire, La Sylphide, The Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Manon, Marguerite and Armand, Mayerling, Onegin, The Pavilion of Armida, Peer Gynt, Raymonda, Romeo and Juliet, The Snow Queen, Sleeping Beauty and in principal roles in iconic works by legendary world choreographers such as Rudolf Nureyev, John Neumeier, Manuel Legris, John Cranko, Sir Kenneth McMillan, Vladimir Malakhov, George Balanchine, Sergei Lifar, Jerome Robbins, Hans van Manen, Twyla Tharp, Jiří Kylián, Wiliam Forsythe, Michael Corder, Gyula Harangozóa, Christopher Wheeldon, Sir Frederick Ashton, Mauro Bigonzetti, Edwaard Liang, Patrick de Bana, Pierre Lacotte, Boris Eifman, Jorma Elo, Nils Christe, David Dawson, Edward Clug, Liam Scarlett and many others. Rainer Krenstetter was born into a dance family in Vienna where he began his ballet training at the Ballet School of the Vienna State Opera. In 1999, he joined the Royal Ballet School in London and continued his training there until 2000 when he became a member with the Vienna State Opera Ballet. In 2002, he joined the Staatsballett Berlin under the direction of Vladimir Malakhov and went through the ranks up to Principal dancer. He joined Miami City Ballet as a Principal dancer in 2014 and gave his last performance in April 2022. In 2020 he was appointed Artistic Director of the company Unblanche in Tokyo and in 2021 he became Associate Artistic Director at The Margot Fonteyn Academy of Ballet in Arizona. Since leaving Miami City Ballet he is dancing as an international guest principal dancer all around the world.
Throughout his training, Krenstetter participated and won medals in various international ballet competitions including in Vienna, Brasilia and Luxembourg, culminating in his first place win at the Prix de Lausanne in 1999.

After earning a Bachelor’s in Psychology in Providence and dancing principal roles with Festival Ballet Providence (Ballet RI -under Mihailo Djuric) and Colorado Ballet, she joined Miami City Ballet, where she spent 11 years as a Principal Soloist performing Principal and Soloist roles worldwide. Emily has also danced as a Principal Soloist with the Slovak National Theatre for the 2021-2022 season and served as guest principal and ballet mistress for Ballet de Barcelona. In October 2024, she premiered as both dancer and choreographer at the Alicia Alonso International Ballet Festival in Havana, Cuba. And in 2025 she performed with Sergio Neglia for Teatro Colon’s 100 year Gala Celebration in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was named one of Dance Magazine’s “Top 20 to Watch” and is currently in her third season as an international principal guest artist.

His career reflects a strong command of classical technique combined with stylistic versatility. Trained at the Almaty Ballet Academy in Kazakhstan, Abougaliev’s education is grounded in the Vaganova method. Anton Bogov is an accomplished ballet soloist and renowned ballet master with an impressive career spanning over three decades. He is known for his exquisite technique, captivating performances, and versatility in both classical and contemporary dance.
Born in Omsk, Russia, Anton Bogov received his ballet training in Almaty, Kazakhstan. While still a student, he performed in numerous school productions and theatre shows. After participating in a ballet competition in Moscow in 1993, Bogov joined the International Ballet Theatre Ochi in Nagoya, Japan. In 1994, Bogov joined the ballet ensemble of the Slovene National Theatre in Maribor and became a soloist just two years later. As a principal soloist with the Maribor Ballet, Bogov danced thru the whole repertoire of male lead roles and has performed with many other ensembles, including the Ljubljana National Opera and Ballet (Nutcracker, Giselle, Ana Karenina, Swan Lake), the Graz Opera (La Sylphide, La Fille Mal Garde), the Zagreb National Theatre (Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, La Bajadere, Carmen), and the Prague National Theatre (Swan Lake).

Anton Bogov is an accomplished ballet soloist and renowned ballet master with an impressive career spanning over three decades. He is known for his exquisite technique, captivating performances, and versatility in both classical and contemporary dance.
Born in Omsk, Russia, Anton Bogov received his ballet training in Almaty, Kazakhstan. While still a student, he performed in numerous school productions and theatre shows. After participating in a ballet competition in Moscow in 1993, Bogov joined the International Ballet Theatre Ochi in Nagoya, Japan. In 1994, Bogov joined the ballet ensemble of the Slovene National Theatre in Maribor and became a soloist just two years later. As a principal soloist with the Maribor Ballet, Bogov danced thru the whole repertoire of male lead roles and has performed with many other ensembles, including the Ljubljana National Opera and Ballet (Nutcracker, Giselle, Ana Karenina, Swan Lake), the Graz Opera (La Sylphide, La Fille Mal Garde), the Zagreb National Theatre (Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, La Bajadere, Carmen), and the Prague National Theatre (Swan Lake).
Bogov has performed extensively across the globe, including in the United States, Italy, Romania, Luxembourg, and Moldova. He has been a regular guest performer at international ballet festivals in Osaka, Japan (Don Quixote), and Bregenz, Austria (Don Kihot, La Sylphide), and has received numerous awards for his outstanding technique, partnership, and overall artistic impression at ballet competitions in Seoul, Budapest, Varna, and Shanghai from 1995 to 2004, as well as being named the cultural icon of the year 2006 by the Mariborčan magazine and awarded the prestigious Prešeren Award in 2007.
Among his recent dance creations, Anton Bogov’s notable performances include the lead role in Sergei Prokofiev’s ballet Romeo and Juliet, the role of Don José in Rodion Shchedrin’s ballet Carmen, the title role in Eugene Onegin and the lead role of Gustav von Aschenbach in Death in Venice (all choreographed by Valentina Turcu).
In addition to his successful career as a performer, Bogov is also an accomplished ballet master. He has worked with renowned choreographers such as Valentina Turcu and has assisted her in staging several productions. Bogov’s passion for dance, coupled with his exceptional talent and dedication, have made him one of the most sought-after ballet soloists and ballet masters of our time. His contribution to the world of dance is significant, and his impact is felt both in his performances and in his work as a mentor to aspiring dancers.
